Intervida Children Home
The poverty in which the children of Bangladesh live does not allow them to access schooling and, as a result, they become illiterate adults with serious difficulties in improving their quality of life. In order to combat this situation, Intervida has been managing two Training Centers for homeless children in the rural areas of Bangladesh since 1999: one in Naogaon and the other in Brahmanbaria.
These schools are located in distinct slums in Dhaka. In December of 2000, having gained experience and knowledge, Intervida decided to initiate a new project aimed specifically at the neediest children in Dhaka: orphans Intervida Children Home, a home for the poorest and neediest children in Bangladesh, was built to offer these children a brighter future and provide them with a place to grow up amidst love and respect.
