Day Care Centers

The small children living in the outlying areas in Bangladesh cannot be cared for by their parents, who are working, and their older siblings take care of domestic chores or care for their younger siblings.

School teachers are not prepared to provide an appropriate education to children between 2 and 5 years old. Given this, these youngsters spend the day in the street without receiving any controlled education and without any looking after.

The Intervida day Care Centers in Dhaka provide an informal education to 2 to 5 year old children through weekly activities which are offered from 8 in the morning until noon. These children learn to develop their physical and mental skills through various educational activities, and they also received nutritional and medical assistance.
