Development projects to serve the community
In Intervida, we work on development projects to ensure that the most disadvantaged communities of Latin America, Asia and Africa can improve their living conditions in a sustainable way.
We consider sustainable human development as essential in ensuring that the most disadvantaged communities can strengthen their capacities, generate opportunities to grow on their own, and overcome their situation of poverty.
In order for a development project to work, close collaboration is needed between the community, which is responsible for identifying its own problems and getting involved in the execution of the actions, and the Intervida professionals from the various sectors in which we work, in order to strengthen the possibility that the actions are successful.
Through the continuous and sustained funding provided by sponsorship, together with the support of donations, collaborators, and public and private, institutions, the development projects become a reality, directly benefiting nearly a million children, their families, and the communities in which they live.
