Quality processes for development
The efforts we undertake daily in the most disadvantaged communities, along with the trust placed in us by each of our collaborators, is the basis for our strong commitment.

For this reason, we have implemented a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001:2000 norm, in which we have been certified since 1999.

Intervida is the first European NGO to obtain ISO 9001 quality certification in its day and to then obtain the current version in the year 2000 for its implementation of a Quality Management System for fundraising and resource application.
- What is the ISO 9001?
- This is a group of requisites designed to improve the capacities, performance and efficacy of the organization, with the end objective being client satisfaction.
- What is the ISO 9001:2000 Certification?
- This certification attests to the entity’s interest in the results of its work and the recognition that this generates among consumers. In the case of Intervida, this has been adapted to NGO standards, given that this is a non-profit organization which does not have clients or consumers, but rather collaborators.
- How is this Certification obtained?
- Every year, the entity submits to an audit by the certifying entity – which must meet the highest level of seriousness, honor, confidence and experience – in order to demonstrate compliance with the norms, as well as those established by the documentation of the Quality Management System.
