June 20th: classes are over and the grades are in, an acknowledgement of our dedication and a job well done. For Intervida, school isn’t out (we continue working), but we did get the highest grade: the “IX National Laurel for Environmental Protection 2008”, an award given by the Environmental Fund of El Salvador (FONAES), an entity of the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources, in recognition of our efforts to protect the environment in the smallest country in Central America, El Salvador.
