Women, the engine of economic change

Women, the engine of economic change

Women’s role in various social strata has undergone significant changes. They have become involved in political and professional activities and have performed their role as the head of household.

These women are in charge of educating their children and often influence their husbands’ decision-making.  For this reason, the education of mothers is an important bastion for the countries’ progress.  As an African proverb says: “To educate a woman is to educate a village”.
