Child sex tourism, the silence of shame
Child sex tourism is a practice which is growing at an alarming rate in the most disadvantaged countries.
Although this is a problem which exists throughout the world, it is extremely difficult to quantify it in terms of reliable figures or statistics. Many children remain silent because they feel ashamed or because they believe this is the only way to overcome their situation of poverty or family abandonment.
